Something wrong on the site, a question about your account, or a review you want us to look at? Write to us.
We read everything that arrives and answer as quickly as we can. A few things are faster to do on the site itself, so it is worth checking below before you write.
Reporting a review, a photo or a profile
Use the Report link on the item itself rather than email. It reaches the moderation queue directly, with the reason and the exact review attached, which is what lets us act on it quickly. Email works too, but it is slower, and please include a link to the page.
Your verification
If you sent us an ID or proof of residency, its status is on your Get verified page under your profile, along with the date the document will be deleted.
If a verification was not accepted and you think that was a mistake, use the Ask us to look again button on that page. It keeps your document from being deleted while a moderator takes a second look. Email only if the button is no longer there — after the deletion date the document is gone and you would need to send a new one.
A property looks wrong
Listing details — rent, bedrooms, whether it is still available — come from property-data providers, and sometimes they are out of date. Tell us which property and what is wrong and we will look at it. Reviews are renters' own accounts of living there and are not changed on request, but anything that breaks our Terms can be reported.
Your data, and closing your account
To close your account, or to ask what we hold about you, email us from the address on the account. We do not have a self-service delete button yet, so this is the way to do it.
Reviews you have written may stay on the site without your name attached, so that the record of a property is not rewritten when one person leaves. If that matters to you, say so and we will talk it through.
How long we keep things — including the short windows for identity documents — is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Landlords and property managers
You are welcome here. You can reply to a review through the ordinary comment system, like any other signed-in user; there is no separate channel and no way to have a review taken down because you disagree with it. If a review breaks our Terms, report it and a moderator will look.
